The Wizard of Oz was originally a novel by L. Frank Baum titled ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ published in 1900. It wasn’t until 1939 that we saw the musical film adaption of the book, famously starring Judy Garland as Dorothy, many of our costumes are a take on her iconic look. Dorothy journeyed down the yellow brick road, clicking her ruby red heels to find The Wizard of Oz to try and get home, along the way making friends with the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion and the Scarecrow.
